Chris has been involved in major projects such as the Channel Tunnel and Brighton & Hove Stormwater Tunnel, and has obtained a substantial amount of mapping work from the B.G.S and various quarries. In addition to specialising in stratigraphic consultancy Chris has now branched out into editorial and translation work, mainly in English and German. He is currently completing a major review of chalk localities for English Nature. Chris has for a long time, been an enthusiastic collector of second-hand and Antiquarian books and reprints. The web has now provided an ideal forum for Chris to make his unique collection of mainly geological and natural history material available to a much wider public.
